I was hiking and thought someone was really rude leaving giant balls of styrofoam in the woods. They are really convincing, but eventually I realized they are mushrooms. A day later I find out that they are edible and have a really narrow picking window. So I decided I'd go back and pick some soon. Already wrecked by nature. So I'll have to try again next year.
Speaking of foraging. Paw paw season has to be nowish.
Why do you think it's wrecked by nature. Is this pic supposed to be before or after. They won't go bad in one day.
