Clive might not have understood some of the other symbolism that the director and all the screenwriters put in this sequel. But Clive barker started out his career as an author writing for a publisher called Eclipse Comics.

I think Hellraiser II is the best from the series.
Yes. Hellraiser 1 and 2 are the best films. The original writer was also involved in the new game and it's really good too...

I'm sure Hellraiser is mostly inspired by Aleister's encounter with demons, like Coronzon. This is covered in Perdurabo.
